Day 3 - Williamstown, kY
Arrived in Williamstown, KY today. This will be the first stop where we will not have to pack-up and head out the next morning. (Yum...I can already smell the eggs & bacon). We will spend 2 days here so that we can visit the Ark Encounter tomorrow and also meet up with dear friends tomorrow night who have moved back this way.
We have already met our campground neighbors on both sides. Larry and his wife are also ministering on the road. For many years they were missionaries on a sailboat in Mexico (traveling the Cortez sea). They are now working in this area for a while. He also works part time at the Ark Encounter. It was very informative talking with him about things they've done and discussing ministry opportunities.
The couple on the other side of us are originally from Erie, PA but now live in Texas. Very nice couple who invited us over. They flip houses for a living (no it's not Chip & JoAnn).
We also had the opportunity to talk with the owners of the campground. She is sweet and petitte - and WOW can she navigate backing a big rig into a tight site. I'm talking straight on target.
